Dental Insurance We Accept

We work with most major dental insurance plans to make quality care simple and affordable for you and your family.

Dental Insurance We Accept

Coverage Made Clear

Understanding Your Dental Benefits

Every dental plan is written a little differently, and that can make a simple checkup feel confusing before you even walk through our door. At Elevate Dental, we want our Mountain's Edge neighbors to know exactly what to expect from their coverage, so you can focus on your smile instead of paperwork.

Coverage amounts, deductibles, and what counts as "preventive" versus "major" work vary significantly from one carrier and one employer group to the next. Even two people with the same insurance company can have different annual maximums or waiting periods. That is why we always recommend verifying your specific benefits before your appointment rather than assuming your plan matches a friend's or neighbor's.

Our front desk team is happy to call your carrier on your behalf, walk you through estimated out-of-pocket costs, and explain any terms you are unsure about. We believe clear answers about cost belong at the start of treatment, not buried in a bill afterward.

How It Works

What In-Network and Out-of-Network Really Mean

Being "in-network" simply means our office has agreed to a carrier's negotiated fee schedule, which usually lowers your out-of-pocket cost for covered procedures. Being "out-of-network" does not mean your insurance refuses to pay; it typically means reimbursement is calculated differently, and you may owe a bit more at the time of service.

Either way, our team files claims for you so you are not left chasing paperwork after your visit. We will also give you a written treatment estimate before any significant procedure so there are no surprises when the bill arrives.

Steps We Take Before Your Visit

  • Benefits verification: We contact your carrier to confirm active coverage, remaining annual maximum, and deductible status before your appointment.

  • Cost estimate: You receive a clear, written estimate of your expected portion before treatment begins, not after.

  • Claim filing: Our billing team submits claims directly to your insurer so you don't have to track forms or deadlines yourself.

  • Follow-up support: If a claim is denied or underpaid, we review it with you and resubmit with additional documentation when needed.

No Insurance? No Problem

Options for Uninsured Patients

A lot of families in Mountain's Edge either don't have dental insurance or have a plan with limited coverage for the treatment they need. We don't believe that should stand between you and a healthy smile, so we offer a few practical paths to make care manageable.

In-House Membership Plan

For a flat annual fee, our membership plan covers routine exams, cleanings, and X-rays, plus a discount on additional treatment, without any insurance company involved.

Flexible Payment Arrangements

We can break larger treatment plans into manageable monthly payments so necessary care does not have to wait for your next paycheck.

Third-Party Financing

Qualified patients can apply for outside financing with low or no interest promotional periods, which our front desk can help you set up during your visit.

If cost is a concern, please tell us before your appointment rather than after. We would much rather build a plan around your budget than have you skip care you need. You can also browse our Services page to get a general sense of what different treatments involve before your first visit.

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Insurance Questions

Do you accept my specific dental insurance plan?

We work with most major dental insurance carriers and many PPO plans common throughout Nevada. Because coverage can differ between employer groups even within the same carrier, we always recommend calling our office at (702) 577-3702 so we can confirm your exact plan details before your visit.

What is the difference between in-network and out-of-network coverage?

In-network means our practice has a contracted fee agreement with your insurer, which generally reduces your out-of-pocket cost for covered procedures. Out-of-network simply means that agreement does not exist, so reimbursement may be calculated using a different fee schedule. Either way, we file the claim for you and explain your expected cost beforehand.

Will you file my insurance claim for me?

Yes. Our billing team submits claims directly to your insurance carrier on your behalf after every covered visit. If a claim is partially paid or denied, we review the explanation of benefits with you and resubmit additional documentation when it is likely to help.

What if I don't have dental insurance at all?

We offer an in-house membership plan covering routine preventive visits for a flat annual fee, along with flexible monthly payment arrangements and third-party financing options for larger treatment plans. Our goal is to keep necessary care within reach, with or without an insurance card.

How much will my treatment actually cost me?

Your final cost depends on your plan's deductible, annual maximum, and coverage percentage for the specific procedure recommended. Before any significant treatment begins, we provide a written estimate based on your verified benefits so you know your expected portion ahead of time, not as a surprise on the invoice.

Do you accept or Medicare dental plans?

Acceptance of government assistance plans varies and can change from year to year based on program contracts. Please call our office directly so we can confirm current acceptance status for your specific or Medicare Advantage dental benefit before you schedule a visit.

How often does insurance cover a routine cleaning?

Most plans cover two preventive cleanings and exams per calendar year, though some employer plans allow three or four for patients with certain health conditions. We check your remaining benefit each visit so you always know how many covered cleanings you have left for the year.

Can I use two insurance plans at the same time?

Yes, this is called coordination of benefits, and it is common for children covered under both parents' plans. One plan is designated primary and the other secondary, and we file claims with both to help maximize your combined coverage and reduce your out-of-pocket responsibility.
